Forever grateful

Grateful although your dad is no longer here. God bless us with one month before he died. Although, I may not get to see, you know who I am and that’s a blessing. Life may not turn out way we expect it to. But we must trust God enough to know what He is doing because He is All knowing and all powerful. Does it hurt sometimes? Yes. Will it kill me? No! This situation gave me life with Jesus! I was in darkness on my way to hell. But God!

I want to thank my old landlord Mr. Pace for encouraging me to go to a church with Pastor Reginald O Butler and his wife Mattie Butler! If I had not been obedient to the voice of the man of God who had been my landlord over 12 years. Seen me at my highs and lows and realized I needed guidance because I was becoming a woman he had never seen before and in the worst way 5 months after my son Sidney was murdered after his 20th birthday. Truth be told if I hadn’t I honestly have no idea where I would be on today and for that I am grateful. And I thank God he led me back to my first love which is Jesus. And Pastor Reginald O Butler let me know to keep looking up! He told me God knows the pain of losing a child because His only begotten son Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

People all around the world. Please accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior on this Thanksgiving. You will be glad that you did. Happy Thanksgiving Day to you all. Appreciate your living relatives. They may not be perfect but God chose them to be your family. Be blessed and stay encouraged! It could be worse.

And her I am on my 43rd birthday November 23, 2021. I am grateful and thanking God for his grace, mercy and favor over my life, my children and grandchildren’s lives! If had not been for the Lord on our side. Where would we be? As you can see from the photos . I am more alive now than I was before my son and mothers died. Why, because I rededicated my life to Jesus. It has been difficult but with God all things are possible.

Our God is awesome! His amazing grace! His loving mercy because we don’t deserve it. My God from Zion. Many of you will never understand my gratitude for life and I do not expect you to. However, I will not stop talking about the goodness of God or what rededicating my life to Jesus fully has done for me.

Team Jesus! At the mention of His name even demons tremble. Walk in your God given authority. The devil is already beaten! Now do you part and trample on the serpents head and cut it off! Give the devil no space! No space! No space!

We are taking back our joy, by the Blood of Jesus. My oldest son Sidney Maurice Jackson Jr. was robbed and murdered on November 21, 2015. He was 19 years old, 6 months away for getting his Associates Degree in Business Management. He was also a new father, who was gunned down one day before his son Jaiden turned one month old November 22, 2015. Sidney was taken from us two days before my 37th birthday November 23rd. Sidney made one bad choice, which, cost him his life. I didn’t find out until he was dead and gone. And by that time it was too late and I didn’t want to hear it. Knoxville, Tennessee is a small city that is dying slowly. This city has lost so many young men and women due to senseless violence. There are so many families hurting as a whole. No one ever realizes that the mothers aren’t the only ones hurting. The Fathers, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends hurt as well. But, everyone grieves differently, because of their own personal relationship with the deceased loved one. But, most of all our youth hurt the most. They do not know how to handle grief at all. We’ve got to be more careful, when it comes to them. They will become severely depressed right in front of your eyes without you knowing it. How can I say this? Well, it’s because it happened to me. I was so wrapped up in the loss of Sidney, two months to the date January 21, 2016 I almost lost my only daughter to suicide. I had to learn the hard way. I’m trying to prevent other families, from experiencing the same things my family has experienced. I want to be the voice for the mothers who are hurting too badly to SPEAK UP and SPEAK OUT. I’m trying to help families stay together and support each other. So, many families fall apart after the loss of a family member, especially a child. The Lord is my strength… View more posts
